Exquisite Hells is a looping video triptych of vignettes that examine the self in relation to global video culture. Surface, boredom, and the spectacle of the everyday are some of the things I was thinking about while making this work. Looking intensely at the complicated relationship between attraction and repulsion. Here, perceptions of time and physics are challenged. The character maintains a Sisyphean existence within strange environments.
